About me
I am originally from Canonsburg, Pennsylvania and I graduated from Belmont University’s School of Music with a Bachelor of Music in Classical Voice Performance, complemented by a minor in German. During my time at Belmont, I had the opportunity to study under the guidance of Dr. Ted Wylie, whose mentorship helped shape my vocal technique and performance skills. My other principal instructors include Mr. Joseph Helinski and Ms. Hilerie Klein Rensi.
Throughout my career, I’ve had the chance to collaborate with various ensembles, including performing with the Nashville Symphony and appearing on PBS. One particularly meaningful experience was working with the Berlin Opera Academy in Germany, where I performed the role of "Gertrud" in Hänsel und Gretel. This opportunity allowed me to work with a talented group of coaches, conductors, and directors, which enriched my understanding of opera and refined my approach to performance.
In addition to performing, I am passionate about teaching and currently run a full-time voice studio. I find great joy in helping young musicians develop their voices, guiding them through their artistic journeys, and supporting them in building both their technical skills and their confidence as performers.
